New Business

Annual Barbeque:  A suggestion that a coordinator position for the Annual Barbeque is needed will be discussed at the next Directors meeting.

Municipal Elections:  The membership supported having questions prepared to ask at an all candidates meeting.  Penny Baughen suggested that answers be recorded.

Tennis Court:  Fritz Bakker expressed concern about the pitted condition of the tennis court surface at Coral Beach Park and offered to get some financial quotes for improvements to the surface.

Boat Launches:  Penny Baughen suggested that Whiskey Cove Park be advertised as an area where boats with shallow draughts can be launched.  This would perhaps relieve some of the congestion at Coral Beach Park.

Coral Beach Park Condition:  Carole Botsford read a short poem about the current , unacceptable conditions at Coral Beach Park.  It was agreed to post the poem on local bulletin boards to raise awareness.  Adult/parental support is needed to keep the park in viable condition.

Water Pressure:  Fritz Bakker expressed concern about the water pressure at his residence on Commonage Road.  Ched Gaglardi said that Lake Country Municipality is currently studying problems of water pressure in the community.

Cadet Use of Coral Beach Park:  Wendy Montieth suggested that swimming lessons at Coral Beach Park not occur at the same time as military cadets are using the Park because the area was uncomfortably congested this year.  Contact will be made with the Vernon Camp before next year.
